YES, IT'S COLD, BUT THE CITY HALL FARMERS MARKET IS BACK TODAY FOR GOOD

February 2, 2011 -- Though Mother Nature was not conferred with prior to the decision, the City Hall Farmers Market is back today, Wednesday, February 2, after a brief holiday hiatus. Located in front of City Hall along both sides of the reflection pool, it will be open today and in the future from 11AM to 2PM.
After a successful pilot program begun in October, the City has decided to permanently host this farmers market each Wednesday. You can enjoy lunch and pick up groceries from more than 40 local vendors including farmers, cheesemakers, coffee roasters, baristas, bakers, olive oil producers, prepared food vendors and food trucks. The market will also have live music, and My Table magazine Chef’s Corner, in which a local chef will be preparing and serving samples.
To help keep shoppers warm today, early visitors will be treated to complimentary cocoa and there will be tables inside the City Hall Rotunda to sit to eat lunch.
